Jeff grew up in Lynden, WA, where the Christian Reformed Church is plentiful. He attended UtahState University studying agriculture until returning to farm work in Lynden. In this time of his life, a series of events caused the Gospel to take root in Jeff’s life. It propelled him on a journey in ministry. As a Youth Pastor in Seattle, Jeff met and married his wife Beth. Together, they moved to Chicago to attend Moody Bible Institute, where Jeff studied Family Ministry and Beth studied Communications. They moved to Lincoln to join the Northern Lighthouse staff after doing an internship in the summer of 2004. They have been working with the Northern Lighthouse and F Street ministries here in Lincoln since January of 2005. Today they have 4 kids: Abigail, Josiah, Caleb and Elia.

Brody Van Roekel
Brody moved to Lincoln in June 2018 to begin a residency with F-Street Neighborhood Church. He grew up in northwest Iowa, where he went to school at Northwestern College in Orange City, IA. After graduating, Brody continued his education in Michigan, studying history at Western Michigan University. The call to ministry has been a prominent part of his story for a long time, though, and connecting with F-Street has offered a fantastic opportunity to live that call out. People are important and doing life together is meaningful, through all the highs and lows. Without people, life would be pretty tough. With people, life is beautiful and diverse and blessed.
